About TfJ - FDTJ
Transport for Jakarta - Forum Diskusi Transportasi Jakarta or Jakarta Metropolitan Transportation Discussion Forum (TfJ-FDTJ) is an organization that focuses as a discussion platform around mobility development for the residents of Greater Jakarta. Founded in 2014, TfJ-FDTJ is a community with over 8000 people joining in our discussion forums in various social media platforms.
To provide the most accurate information and encourage more Jakartans to use public transportation, since October 2016 TfJ-FDTJ publishes different public transportation maps for Jakarta that combines different modes of transport into one map that all can access. TfJ-FDTJ also collaborated with the government of Jakarta as well as public transport operators to provide maps and wayfinding signages in Jakarta

?Why maps and signages
For a city with the size of Jakarta, the availability of basic information about public transportation services is important in order to ensure that public in all sort of level could be informed and therefore can utilize the provided public transportation modes effectively. The availability of information would also be important for public transportation operators to also ensure that their services are being used thanks to the information they provide.
One basic media that information for public transportation can be delivered is through maps. A visually-effective designed map can provide very valuable information for public transport users; the reality in Jakarta is that in general such basic information as maps are not available; even if there are some - it was poorly designed for people to use. Therefore with this condition, Transport for Jakarta is working with its Cartography Team to provide Jakartans with an accurate and periodically updated public transport network map in Jakarta.
As an organization and a public community who cares about the availability of information with the aim to push and encourage more usage of public transport, Transport for Jakarta - FDTJ independently provides network maps and signages of various public transportation modes in Jakarta. With the help of various donations, several activities have been held to put maps or signages in several public transport nodes in Jakarta such as BRT stops and City Tour bus stops. Also, TfJ-FDTJ with its Cartography Team designs and releases a variety of network maps in which is updated regularly.
With a large scale community who cares with the development of public transportation in Jakarta, TfJ-FDTJ successfully launch these programs also with help of various stakeholders in Jakarta transportation system with the aim to promote and help the ever-growing development of the public transportation system in Jakarta!

FDTJ Pembuat "Signage" dan "Wayfinding" di 4 Stasiun Terpadu Jakarta

Forum Diskusi Transportasi Jakarta (FDTJ) turut serta dalam penataan integrasi moda di empat stasiun terpadu yakni, Stasiun Tanah Abang, Stasiun Juanda, Stasiun Sudirman, dan Stasiun Pasar Senen. Penataan ulang itu dilakukan dengan memanfaatkan lahan di area stasiun dan mengatur alur penumpang baik yang keluar maupun menuju stasiun. FDTJ berpartisipasi melalui penyediaan desain untuk informasi visual (signage) dan penuntun arah (wayfinding) di area sekitar stasiun.
Dorongan Lajur Sepeda ”Pop Up” Tetap Ada, bahkan Durasinya Diperpanjang

FDTJ dengan ITDP dan B2W bersama-sama membuat pop up bike lane karena DKI akan mendukung sepeda sebagai moda normal baru. Namun, lajur sepeda itu masih dibatasi pagi dan sore hari. Sudah saatnya kalau mau buat bahwa sepeda sebagai moda baru harus diberikan karpet merah ini 24 jam.

Untuk memudahkan masyarakat dan wisatawan mancanegara dan domestik dalam menggunakan angkutan umum, Pemerintah Provinsi (Pemprov) DKI bersama Forum Diskusi Transportasi Jakarta (FDTJ) berkolaborasi memasang papan informasi transportasi publik di 28 halte non-bus rapid transit (BRT) di koridor Sudirman, Jakarta Pusat.

Forum Diskusi Transportasi Jakarta meluncurkan tiga peta Transportasi Umum untuk wilayah Jabodetabek. Seperti apa bentuknya? Transportasi Umum adalah sebuah solusi yang cukup menarik untuk menghindari kemacetan di Ibukota, termasuk di Jakarta. Di Jakarta sendiri, banyak sekali transportasi umum yang tersebar diberbagai kota administrasi. Ada Angkot, Bajaj, Kopaja, Metro Mini, dan Trans Jakarta.

Koridor 13 Transjakarta menjadi harapan baru masyarakat Jakarta. Tetapi pengoperasiannya yang kejar tayang menyebabkan harapan baru ini tercoreng. Celakanya, Koridor 13 beroperasi tanpa petunjuk dan rambu apapun dan rawan membuat penggunanya tersesat. Di tengah kegelapan informasi koridor 13, sekelompok anak muda pemberani datang dan melakukan hal-hal yang tidak pernah terpikirkan oleh siapapun di Jakarta. Mereka adalah Forum Diskusi Transportasi Jakarta (FDTJ). Di media sosial, FDTJ telah menjadi salah satu grup media sosial yang ramai untuk mendiskusikan perkembangan transportasi di Jakarta, dan telah banyak mendapatkan apresiasi dari sejumlah instansi berwenang.

An integrated map comprising various mass public transportation lines has been launched by a group calling itself the Greater Jakarta Transportation Discussion Forum (FDTJ). The map, which took five weeks to complete, connects 105 Transjakarta routes, seven commuter line routes, long-distance trains, and the Soekarno-Hatta International Airport Skytrain.
